The Interventional Nurses Council (INC) is a council of the CSANZ with a direct affiliation with the Interventional Council.
The INC was established in 2011 and became an official council of the CSANZ in 2012. It was established as a result of a demand for formal representation of this nursing specialty.
The goal of all cardiac cath labs is to accomplish the best outcome for our patients. To do this, it is essential to practice team work. Having well trained professionals practising as a team is the key for improved patient outcomes and thus achieving better results using clinical evidence.
